Mariel here. This Christmas was one for the books. But rather than blather on about the epic, stomach-busting dinner, the warm fuzzy family time, or the bounty of carefully chosen loot, we figured we’d show instead of tell. Here are a few of our holiday highlights – naturally, the spotlight is on the chow… Hope yours was very merry!

A little holiday ambiance
The spread…
Lobster Bisque, Smoked Salmon & Sirloin all in one meal, sounds like heaven! You girls def know how to please your guests, wish I was one of them! So nicely done.
Haha, thank you! Wish we could eat like that everyday. It was definitely WAY more of a splurge than usual – I practically rolled away from the table.

Why thank you, Debbie! It was such a wonderful day and like Mariel, I’m sad it’s over. I was so happy to see her post with such great pics. She’s my own Christmas angel! I’m hopeless when it comes to getting my photos as crisp as Mariel’s! Hope your holidays have been filled with joy and the new year brings you health and dreams-fulfilled.

Mary Anne and Mariel:
First let me congratulate you on this fabulous website!!
Using your guides, I may just learn how to cook in my “older” years.
I have printed out several of your recipes and will try to do them justice in the new year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR.

You just totally brightened my day! As I finished up the day’s charts, naturally I cruised over to our website and lo and behold– your lovely message! Thanks, Mrs. Lynch and I’ll see you and Johnny on Wednesday. xo
