- For those of you with enough leftover dough to indulge in a meal made by someone else, checkout Restaurant.com. This handy website offers discounted gift certificates to restaurants all over the country. I’ve bought $25 gift certificates for as little as $3.
- Lifestyle site JuliB.com sent out a note about Rioja week. Starting April 26th, fans of the spicy red wine can enjoy wine and prix fixe deals at over 50 participating restaurants in NYC. Click here for details.
- A variety of on the cheap wine tasting events in Jersey , Michigan, and Portland.
- Homemaker Barbi claims to have the inside scoop on coupon clipping. She shares 27 “secret” links for hard to find discounts.
- Speaking of coupons, ending April 26th, Bloomingdale’s is offering a 20% discount online – just enter SPRINGFF at checkout. The discount applies to most regular and sale-priced items in the Home department (as well as men’s, women’s and kid’s). Happy bargain hunting!
- Jet from NYC to Fort Lauderdale, Chicago to Myrtle Beach or Fort Lauderdale to Panama City for as little as $18. These deals and more are available until midnight tonight at Travelzoo
- For DC-dwellers and visitors alike, the Examiner lists a round up of Fido-friendly hotels.
- This week, Orbitz is featuring Culinary Vacations and Packages at up to 35% off. Destinations range from faraway lands like New Zealand and Buenos Aires to backyard sweet spots in New York, Portland and New Orleans.
- Suzanne’s Files rounds up a slew of swanky hotels here and abroad offering three nights for the price of two. Free is always a favorite.
- And in a decidedly un-recession-friendly move, Morton’s, the venerable steakhouse, is now charging $2.50 for ice, according to the Insatiable Critic.
