Ingredients:
1 ½ cups mayonnaise – from stock
2 Tablespoons honey – from stock
3 red or green Jalapeño chilies, minced fine – $0.87
2 cloves garlic, minced – from stock
1 ½ teaspoons horseradish – $1.79
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar – from stock
¼ teaspoon cayenne, or to taste – from stock
GRAND TOTAL (assuming “Well- Stocked” kitchen): $2.66
Directions:
1. Whisk it all together and refrigerate it up to two weeks! It’s great on sandwiches if you’re lucky enough to have any leftover.
My favorite flavored mayo is ultra-simple: about a Tbs of mayo with a squirt of Sriracha. Maybe a drop of lime juice as well. Great on pork sammiches, and a tasty fish glaze. Cheers!
